You can’t make it feel right when you know that it’s wrong

So I know i havent written in a while, but the only person who probobly read this wanted me to wirte a blog, so here we are. Me and my friend, Samantha, who i have mentioned many time and is the only person who reads this, where talk about the amazing song Already Gone by Kelly Clarkson and how it is suposedly related to the fairly decent song Halo by Beyoncé. Now I like both of these artists, but i dont see how they relate at all, and people are angry that Kelly stole Beyoncé’s song.

The melody(which is the singing part, or according to wikipedia (i know what your thinking but thats a whole different blog) a linear succession of musical tones which is perceived as a single entity ) is compleatly different, and to me ears, do not even use the same notes. But i dont have a PHD in music, nor the sheet music (which btw im trying to get so if anyone has it and is willing to send to me please comment) . The only part that i can see related is the beggining but they don’t even sound exactly the same.

Also, people make it sound as if Kelly took the baseline version of Halo and made her one words to it. This is definatly untrue because at the beginning of Halo, its just piano, where as in Already Gone there are stringed instruments and such. Also, if Ms. Clarkson where to do this, it would not be the first time someone has done it. For example the song Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice uses the exact same base line as the song Under Presure by Queen ft. David Bowie, and i have heard nobody complain about that.

Another reason the problem is not to be the fault of Kelly Clarkson is that Ryan Tedder, The singer of one Republic, produced both of the songs and by the time Kelly heard Halo her album was already being “printed”.

In My opinion, Already gone is a better song but Beyoncé is a more powerful singer.
